Two New 3D Ready PDP TVs from Samsung

Want to jump into the 3D madness? Suit yourself with these two new PAVV TVs from Samsung in Korea, available in 42″ and 50” and 3D Ready PDP TV” (PDP = Plasma). Samsung worked in collaboration with Electronic Arts to ensure these TVs will give you the best gaming experience possible, and to tweak the 3D display rendering. It’s also important to note that our TVs were given the DNIe+ (Digital Natural Image engine+). On a side note we have here USB 2.0 Support, HDMI 1.3, and full HD.

If 3D PDP TV isn’t MAD enough, Samsung announced a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1… I am not sure if this isn’t a typo on the Samsung PR documents, but WOW.

1,000,000:1 can be just like PMPO to RMS was. Those numbers depends a LOT from company to company, so far just Pioneer, Panasonic and Hitachi are reliable when it comes with PDP (a lot better than LCD, IMHO).

So far, LCDs are better as PC monitors only.

3D Ready wow! those girls really seems that are out of the screen!
Actually I love that game and I\’m using now a Samsung monitor. It would be nice to have a TV with more resolution than 1920×1080 for when you use it with your PC.

    Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am really interested in that kind of 3D-Ready TV. Here in Germany there are only a couple of Plasma tv’s on the Samsung website which have the 3D-Reday label.
Me I want to purchase a 3D-Ready PDP with FullHD resolution. In order to ask for that, I need the model names of those FullHD-3D-Ready PDP’s.
So that would be very valuable for me if you send me some model names via E-Mail.

    Thank you very much and
    Kind Regards
