Hands-On with the “Transformers” like Mobile Phone from Softbank.

We’ve just returned from a joint press conference with TV Tokyo, SoftBank, and Toshiba where we saw the 815T PB in the flesh, the very first Mecha/Transformer like 3G mobile phone.

As we stated earlier, this is a kit given with the phone that you glue to the back of the handset. In fact this very phone is part of a new TV program for teenagers called “Ketai Sousakan 7,” which will air soon in Japan.

The overall product is nicely done and doesn’t look too cheap, anyway a MUST have if you’re a MECHA/TRANSFORMERS fan.

Anyway, Here are 45 live photos of the event just for you !

I found some great new information on these robots. First of all, you need to know about BuddyTalk. It’s a piece of software that turns the robo-phone into an artificially intelligent robot friend. Cool huh?
