IOTEK’s ezSECU 850: An Easy Way to Secure Your Precious Data

If you’re the paranoid kind and don’t want to share anything with anybody when it comes to data, IOTEK has got to be a good friend of yours. This relationship based on trust is here to stay with the brand new ezSECU 850.

The Korean company was kind enough to provide us with two of these, a good opportunity to review it for you!

The ezSECU is equipped with a touchscreen, type in your secret code in order to browse between your top priority files, a USB connection, cable for the powerline, and an ON/OFF button. It’s as simple as ABC. The next thing to do is plug in a SATA HDD and you’re good to go!

As you can see on the video, the ezSECU really is “EZ” to use thanks to its touchscreen. Once the data is secured, the disk is no longer recognized by the other devices. The design is simple, and the case is constructed of aluminium and plastic. The dimensions are pretty big, a card reader and a battery would have been appreciated, but IOTEK is sure on the right track!
