Hands-on with the Softbank 822P and Its Ultra Slim Body

If you thought that 9.8mm was cool, guess again! Here’s the SoftBank 822P (Panasonic) at only 8.9mm thick! Our device is 3G and GSM, has a 2Mpix camera, Bluetooth, and weighs only 96g.

Not much more to say. On the other hand it’s a pretty good alternative to the AU’s InfoBar 2.

Brilliant! I\’ve always loved thin phones. I\’m going to get that when I go back to Japan. I have to say, buying a phone in Japan is annoying. First of all, I only use NTT because the rest, reception can be crap! And now SoftBank makes the best looking phones! Hm…although I might still want to get iMode….not too sure. Or maybe just get one of the one yen phones since whichever I buy will be outdated in 57 seconds. And also the 1 yen ain\’t bad. The colour\’s great, the screen\’s great, and the functions are almost all there. Execpt perhaps the look. Maybe I\’ll just mod it…spray paint it or buy some GelaSkins (check em out on google or something) and then I can have a cool phone! By the way I recently posted an entry about things getting thinner. Check it out
