I have an older tecra m9 without the 3g and it’s very good – runs linux really well (need a small patch to turn on bluetooth). it’s definitely worth while buying the versions with the nvidia graphics chip rather than integrated video as you get very good dual-head display (I can run 1900×1200 on external, 1440×900 on internal, simultaneously).
