New “Digital Sound Projector” from Yamaha!

VIERA (Panasonic), REZGA (Toshiba) or Wooo (Hitachi) HDTV owners, Yamaha needs you to pay attention to their upcoming (early February in Japan) Digital Sound Projector: the YSP-3000! (others can read too…)

The very elegant YSP3000 features a built-in digital amplifier producing 82W (total power: 2W x 21 + 20W x 2). Some of the main specs include:

-Multi-channel sound (5.1) from DVDs, digital broadcasting, satellite broadcasting, and other digital sources.
-Large range of optimum listening positions thanks to a wider soundstage.
-3 Cinema DSP programs: Movie, Music, and Sports.
-HDMI interface (1080p/24Hz and 60Hz compatible).
-Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS Neo:6 compatibility.
-Can be wall mounted or placed on a shelf or rack.
-Compressed Music Enhancer,

and other things… Dimensions and weight are: 800×152×155mm and 11.5kg.

The open price should be around 150,000 Yen, says Yamaha.
