Asimo is back !

After Toyota’s impressive demonstration, Honda had to strike back, and invited “a chosen few” (which turned into a hundred people as usual) to a new press conference to unveil the latest version of their “Robot King”: Asimo.

No need to hide it any longer: the meeting was a letdown, because the only enhancements that were brought to Asimo were better objects detection (it would basically run into things before), and a longer lasting battery… hmm… I guess the people at Toyota must be laughing quite hard at the moment… Of course I took some photos and one video, there you go!

Btw, awesome robot too bad is damn way expensive.

We had some glitch on our video and a stupid foreign photographer decided to ruin every cameramen shot… Anyway we will upload the video within today

Cheers

is the robot can charge by himself? if he feel weak he go to the charger and DIY .. lol

“is the robot can charge by himself? if he feel weak he go to the charger and DIY .. lol”

Yeah, looking to a photo (above) I would assume yes. To him do that isn’t hard at all (low battery sensor), what is hard is how he can get until there by walking (avoiding objects, etc). I wonder when those robots will start to get cheap enough to starting to buy for masses.

HOW CAN I GET A ASIMO FOR MYSELF

HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST
