Samsung comes up with a new AMOLED cellphone in Korea

It’s always nice to check out what the Korean makers do for their Korean people from Korea, while we sit back and wait until we spend our cash on something else… anyway… here it is! It? Yep, the special edition of the Samsung SPH-W2400, featuring an AMOLED screen.

As a reminder, the AMOLED technology provides better contrast, viewing angle, response and overall performance than “traditional” LCD screens. This mobile phone is also fitted with goodies such as HSDPA compatibility, 2MPx Digital Cam, BlueTooth, DMB, Multimedia player etc…

Available at LG Telecom in Korea, down there the price tag is set at 500,000Won (~367Euros), just to let you know!
