SyncMaster 220TN, the new VoiP ready LCD from Samsung

Announced at the CES, then again at the CeBIT and the IFA, the SyncMaster 220TN LCD with VoiP is now finally sold in KOREA !

The 220TN features a 5ms 22” LCD with a resolution of 1680×1050, a 10/100Mbps Ethernet port, 4x USB, a 2Mpix web-camera, a Mic and Speakers as well as embedded VoIP software. In fact this is not just your regular screen, since you will have under the “hood” a CPU Geode LX800 at 500MHz, with WinXP embedded.

On a side-note, as you can see on the demo picture just below, the 220TN is also one of the rare LCD screens which does not need to be plugged into anything to run… Stunning !

You can see how they cut around the girl’s forehead to fit the screen in the 2nd photo.

think the left top corner of the screen is showing the image the other persons sees…and that window is blocking the picture in the tv at the background
