A new 320GB 2.5” HDD from Fujitsu

Here you are, the first 2.5” HDD of 9.5mm to reach the capacity of 320GB! The Fujitsu MHZ2 BH in its 320GB version has 8MB of cache and a speed of 5400rpm; our HDD uses the SATA interface, and only weighs 101g.

    This is still nothing, in 3 years from now we’ll see 1TB 2.5″ HDs, and 3TB 3.5″ HDs.

    I think Western Digital and Toshiba both have 2.5″ 320GB drives out (although none can be bought retail at this time), so this makes Fujitsu the third one to arrive at the party, right? Would be nice if Fujitsu became the FIRST to offer these babies retail in Akihabara (I want whichever one becomes available for purchase the soonest)….
