DW-100, the Autonomous DVD Recorder from Canon
While owning a video camera is a great thing, most people struggle to back their “memories” (video) on DVDs… Autonomous DVD recorders, which allow you to record your video from your camera to a DVD are not new, but the DW-100 which will be sold in March 2008, now not only accepts MPEG-2 Video in SD, but HD video recorded with the AVCHD codec! These DVDs will be of course compatible with Any BD players (Blu-Ray disk players), and any PS3…
Finally, if you really want to, you will be able to plug the DW-100 to any PC or MAC thanks to its USB2 connection.
