A New 1Seg TV Tuner for the Nintendo DS.
Nintendo Japan will sell for the DS a new 1SEG TV tuner starting from November 8. Our little wonder will allow you to watch Digital TV almost everywhere in Japan on the upper screen of your DS, and will turn the lower screen into a remote control.
You should expect a price of 41€ for this Digital TV tuner in Japan.

Excellent
Does anyone know if this tuner will work in USA? I know we cant buy it here but would it pick up analog or HD broadcasts over the air?
No. Because you do not use 1seg in the US
when are they going to release a oneseg RADIO, and not TV?? Oneseg Radio stations are already broadcasting in Japan, but you can only get Oneseg Radios via KDDI phones…I’d like to see a standalone Oneseg radio.
does PSP have this kind also ?
psp already has something like this. you can order it on play-asia.com but remember it only works in Japan. I don’t know if there’re any other country that uses 1seg atm.
this accessory will also work in Brazil. We are using the same japanese technology for Digital TV broadcast. The PSP Digital TV turner was already tested here and worked flawlessly.
