The new Hitachi Deskstar P7K500 HDD

Hitachi decided to upgrade its DeskStar HDD range (SATA) with the P7K500. The capacities are pretty common, with 250 and 500GB; the good news comes from the power consumption being reduced to about 40%, compared to the previous versions.
Other specs include 8MB cache and 7200rpm.

To all the eco-friendly geeks out there!
