CEATEC 07 – AU by KDDI, Wimax Fever

If this year most of the Ceatec booths were less attractive than the 2006 versions, we anyway had the pleasure to discover some nice products like for example on the AU from KDDI booth, where we could test the full power of the WIMAX with a multi video conference; this on the go, thanks to a Fujitsu laptop… one word, impressive! Finally, even if we could not get any precise date as a possible launch date of a WIMAX solution by KDDI, we had the pleasure to hear that very soon the first WIMAX handset will be available in Japan.

As far as the mobile phones were concerned, we had the pleasure to discover the full range of AU phone from KDD, as well as the InfoBar 2, in its simple but yet stylish design.

This CEATEC coverage is made in partnership with GeekStuff4U.com, your best gadgets direct from Japan !
