Samsung Struts Out with Beat Phone for T-Mobile

Today T-Mobile announced the availability of the next Samsung phone–the Beat. The Samsung SGH-t539 Beat phone is a clamshell, and it is a continuation of your typical Samsung phone line-up. The phone has what looks like a dial on the outside, but in actuality it is a speaker that surrounds the controls for the player. While it offers the external screen, a 1.3 MP camera and your other standard features, there may not be much else to the phone.

The phone also offers the standard 1,000 saved contacts, which allows you to store up to 5 numbers for each contact. The phone, while it may not be the top of the line, still offers the mighty Bluetooth, which apparently you can send files through as well. There is about 40MB of internal memory, but you can always add a MicroSD card. With a battery talk time of 4 hours and a standy time of around 10 hours, this phone should be pretty decent.

If you like what you have read, pack the bags, it’s time to go to your local T-Mobile dealer and find one of these today, as they just barely went on sale!
