Viewsonic to Offer Four More Affordable Quality Monitors

Viewsonic has announced four new monitors to its already wide line-up. With prices all below $300, these monitors are sure to bring the wallets out. Announced were the VA1926w (19″), VA2026w(20″), and the VA2226w (22″, 21.6″ viewable) in the new widescreen line, with only one monitor announced in the traditional 4:3 format–the VA926 (19″) monitor.

These new displays give you a 2000:1 contrast ratio, Dynamic Contrast to adjust black levels based on screen content, 300 nits of brightness, and ClearMotiv(R) 5 ms response time. These monitors also support both traditional VGA connections as well as DVI. Given the specifications, this should be a decent monitor line-up that should satisfy most gamers and non-gamers alike.

Viewsonic typically has a good history of making quality monitors, and having used a few myself, I would highly recommend anyone with a tighter budget to consider these new “Value” monitors for your system.
