Toshiba brings Gigabeat T400 to the States

Toshiba’s new Gigabeat T400 has been announced this morning and it is capable of restoring details lost in the compression of MP3 and WMA tracks. Even better, a 1-bit digital amp and filter reduce backround noise and the player even supports Windows Media Lossless.

Besides some impressive specs, the T400 sports flash memory and a 2.4-inch LCD that can play WMV movies for up to five hours. According to the company, the T400 can play music for 16 hours.

The 4GB model will set you back $120.
