SONY releases its new Vaio UX with a 64bit CPU !
Earlier this month Sony stop selling its Vaio UX series UMPCs, meaning that a new generation will be on its way, well after several weeks of horrible wait, here you are the shiny new UX 72, UX92S and UX92NS. So basically what is new here? Well the good news is that SONY drop the 32bit CPU and offer us now 64Bit Core 2 Solo CPU like the U2200 (1.20Ghz) and the U2100 (1.06Ghz), a Celeron M523 (32Bit) will still be available but who really cares about Celeron CPU anyway. The other good news is that we can now choose a 64GB SSD drive instead of a 40GB HDD version. And that ALL ! No you will have to wait until middle of next month to get one of this little wonder. Now we could just hope that Vista 64 could worth something.

I already have a 64 bit OS, it’s called Linux, and works very well thank you on all the servers I run
Sony has created impressive computer specifications but to me the form factor should be changed so that it has a better touch type keyboard. I would like to see them modify it so that is more resembles a Psion Revo or HP Jornada 720. If you have full desktop OS then you would want to input like a normal desktop/laptop; thus a touch type keyboard.
