Fuji Xerox copier translates languages on the fly

So maybe copiers are SO ten years ago, but this Fuji Xerox prototype can scan Japanese text and print it out in translated English, Chinese or Korean without changing the layout of the original page.

According to the company, the as-yet named copier uses special algorithms that can distinguish between text, drawings, and lines, which allows it to work the way you’d like.

But before you’re worried that it can’t translate anything else, think again — it can translate the aforementioned languages to any other.
