A new Sofmap MegaStore in Akihabara!!
A couple years back, you could walk around in Akihabara and enjoy those small shops made “by Geeks for Geeks” to find little unexpected wonders of all kinds, this is THE thing that made the Akihabara district so famous! Unfortunately this is about to end…the reason? The invasion of Duty Free (for tourists) shops and Yodobashi Cameras (soon in video) forced a lot of those small shops to stop their activity…
This is where you’ll find one of the oldest shop around, which decided to get bigger, and when I mean bigger I mean a 7 levels MegaStore covering 4600m² where you’ll find anything you need and more!
Pretty sad situation in some ways, but that’s the evolution of the market; good luck to Sofmap!!
