Check Out the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream!!

In an attempt to jumpstart its iPod speaker line, Logitech unveiled the Pure-Fi series. And while it showed off a few players, the real star of the presentation was the company’s new Pure-Fi Dream.

The Pure-Fi Dream sports an LCD at its base that displays a clock and AM/FM tuning (including RDS text) while allowing for a larger view of track and timeline information from your iPod. With the help of a shortcut button, users can quickly skip their way through songs and even shuffle in a matter of seconds.

The two-speaker setup features a two-woofer setup as well. With a light-up remote, snooze control, and compatibility with most iPods, the Dream might be just that when it hits shelves later this month for $250.

$250? Thats twice as much as I paid for my iPod way back in the days. Looks really nice, but its not portable and its too expensive for just 2 speakers and a 2 color LCD.
