Epson Unveils A New Line of Printers

In an announcement made today by your friends at Epson, four new members of its inkjet printer lineup are poised for release. And for a range of $70 to $150, it looks like Epson is aiming at the profitable consumer market on this one.

The $90 Stylus C120 is a single-function printer that boasts print speeds of up to 25ppm and offers a “quiet mode” that minimizes noise levels, but reduces printing speed.

The $70 Stylus CX7400 is the cheapest printer you will find in this lineup, but offers print, scan, copy and PC-free photo print functions along with a built-in memory card slot and 28ppm printing. Besides that, the printer sports auto photo correction and photo restoration options with the help of Epson’s Easy Photo Fix software.

Next, the $100 Stylus CX8400 sports a 2.5-inch LCD for previewing photos, along with memory card slots, 30ppm printing, and the same software as the CX7400.

Finally, the $150 Stylus CX9400 Fax boasts faster print speeds, fax functionality, an automatic document feeder, and all of the same features offered by the CX8400.
