Another U3 — This Time From Asus

Sporting a black piano finish and a leather wrist rest, the Asus U3 is not only one of the best looking 13.3-inch displays you will find today, it weights just 3.9 pounds while still offering a screen that makes watching movies quite easy.

The Asus U3 offers Intel Turbo Memory, 3G wireless, and integrated GPS options, along with a fingerprint scanner and a Trusted Platform Module. All of these specs run on Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor while offering the Intel GM965 chipset, plus a 128MB Nvidia GeForce 8400M graphics card with a single memory slot for up to 2560MB of RAM.

So far, there is little known about this sleek lappy, but reports suggest a $2,000 price tag and a September ship date.
