LG Unveils Hi-Fi Home Theater System

LG today introduced the HT902TB, a home cinema system designed to act as a home entertainment hub in your living room.

The device sports 1,000 watts of audio power with the help of five speakers and five virtual speakers to create a 10.1-channel sound effect.

Although it’s designed to be hooked up to an LG television (gee, what isn’t?), the device is basically a home speaker system with an amp, subwoofer and DVD player.

The HT902TB features an XTS Pro Digital Amplifier that balances both high and low tones for a clearer sound and the aforementioned virtual 10.1-channel surround sound is dubbed the interesting sounding Virtual Sound Matrix (VSM).

The system has HDMI connectivity with 1080i up-scaling technology and even includes portable audio 3.5 Stereo In so you can plug audio devices into it without a problem. If you’re looking for more, the device even offers a USB port so you can share music, photos and DivX video.

Look for the HT902TB to hit shelves in the UK this month with (hopefully) other country releases soon after.
