A Mini Thomson A1 Player

Thomson, the former owner of RCA has unveiled the A1, which is a compact player that is slightly larger than a 3-inch widescreen LCD. And if you’re looking for all of the controls to use this bad boy, look on the edges — that’s where they all sit. The A1 plays AVI clips at up to 24 frames per second and offers support for MP3, WAV, or WMA songs. And if that’s not all, the A1 offers an FM tuner and recorder.

Expect the A1 to hit China first, but should hit the States soon for 4GB ($106) or 8GB ($120) of flash memory.
