We Have Updates On the Acer Gemstone!!

Remember when I told you about the Acer Gemstone? No? Then check the link below. But if you do, then you will remember that it’s almost guaranteed to be one of the best looking computers available on the market. And although we weren’t sure what was going on with these slick lappys just three months ago, we have some big news for you: they’re now available in North America.

The Gemstone laptops are dubbed the 4710 and the 5920. The latter will feature a 15.4-inch display and an HD DVD drive. Besides that, both laptops will sport a Core 2 Duo processor and a built-in webcam. And if you’re a Vista fan, you’ll be happy to know that you can get your Windows on with Vista Home Premium.

The 4710 sports a 14.1-inch widescreen, a Core 2 Duo processor and a Dolby-certified sound system. Believe it or not, you can pick a 4710 up for only $599. That said, the 5920 will run you $1,999 just to start.
