The World’s Smallest Camcorder?
In an announcement made by the fine folks at Panasonic, the company is claiming that its new HDC-SD5 is in fact the world’s smallest 3CCD Full HD camcorder. And considering its dimensions are a minute 2.6 x 2.6 x 5.3-inches and it weighs just .75-pounds, there’s no wonder the company is making such claims.
Besides its size, the camera sports 1,920 x 1,080 30fps recording on SD or SDHC cards as well as image stabilizations Leica Dicomar lenses. Look for it in September for a cool $1000.

Okay. I am a bit confused.
Is this availavle in Japan already and the announcement is that these models will be introduced for the N. America market during September? (I think I stumbled upon such article somewhere)
Do you have any idea? I really am interested in that camera (actually, I would opt for the sony, but they dont have english interface, only in the over(prices)seas models.
Thanks!
Just Wait for tomorrow… Since Pana Japan will announce it tomorrow… also wait for tomorrow to get our photos and HD Video
please I want a HD Video of this HD Camera
(lol what a coinsidence). I am really considering of buying this one. My old Tape SD Camera from Canon Mvx4i broke about 2 months ago and the repair costs are so high, I could easily afford this one instead of repairing this.
Daimaou – I will wait!
I’ll be back
its the SD3 rebranded for US and europe…the SD3 which we wait for a review
