Put your HD videos on DVD, by Sony

The Sony VRD-MC5 is yet another nice tool to allow you to burn many things on a DVD (+/-R, +/-RW, +R DL). No matter what you plug in (HDV, DV, HDD, 8mm…camcorders), this new Sony product will treat it like his best friend and burn the content that you can play on a DVD player, Blu-Ray player or PS3.

The user has the choice between 5 qualities (standard to HD) to record and can create personalized menus for DVDs or photo slideshows with music (MP3).

Available in September in Europe.

Burn SD discs from Sony HDD/MS/DVD Handycam camcorders via USB.

Incremental Dubbing.
Scene Selection/Date Selection/Playlist dubbing.
Automatic DVD menu, title and chapter creation.
Create Slideshows including import of background music (MP3).
