Toshiba Ups TransMemory Capacity

Toshiba has revealed an increase in storage for its TransMemory USB drive.

Dubbed the U2K series, the new model sports the same design of earlier models, but uses new memory techniques to get the storage capacity up to 32GB. The new U2K series also includes a downloadable password lock and support for Vista’s ReadyBoost feature that speeds up load times by caching information .

The new TransMemory sticks will be available in October in sizes ranging from 1GB to 4GB. The 32GB model is a Limited Edition and will hit shelves by December. So far there is no word on pricing.
