i-SOBOT, TOMY’s super tiny robot! VIDEO Inside!

Sanyo and TOMY unveiled today the i-SOBOT, a tiny robot powered by 3 AAA ENELOOP batteries (probably the best batteries out there), it is equipped with 17 servo-engines, all this technology in 165mm. The i-SOBOT can be programmed and controlled at distance but also understand a couple vocal commands (up to 10)! It will go on sale in Octobre 2007 in Japan at a nice 30000 JPY ( 177€), the American version is expected too (in black color only).

Last but not least, the Guinness Book of Records certified the i-SOBOT as the smallest Robot in the world!

Congratulations to TOMY for the robot and Sanyo for the ENELOOP batteries (that we use in our Micro UHF, Flash, DSLR, wireless keyboards…)
