PS3 price drop, WE TOLD YOU!

A couple months ago we announced Sony’s intention to reduce the price of its Playstation 3 (which would have happened some day anyway) not so long after release…probably because the price is considered the main problem for potential buyers.

For all those who doubted I even made a scan copy of the e-mail that I received but right now it is OFFICIAL! and For you eyes, here is the official PDF! We told you

At the same time, Sony announces an 80GB version like the one sold in Korea.

I’ve heard the price cut isn’t free. They might be cutting support for PS2 games. The PS3 had backwards compatability and Linux support going for me.. Alas, even the Linux support is said to be hobbled – no full access to SPUs and graphics.. sigh
