SANYO Presents The Industry’s Brightest Portable-class Projector

Tokyo, July 3, 2007 – SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. (SANYO), a world leader in presentation technologies, announces the sale of a high resolution projector that has achieved the industry’s highest brightness, 6,500 lumens, in the portable-class, single-lamp LCD projector category – the LP-XP100L – available starting from August 1.
This year, SANYO has already announced the sale of two projectors: the industry’s brightest LCD large-size projector model, the LP-XF47 (capable of 15,000 lumens), and a small-size projector that changes the way people view projectors with the ultra-short focus lens model, the LP-XL50 (capable of projecting an 80-inch screen from a mere 8 cm). On this occasion, SANYO announces the newest member of its line-up with a mid-size, portable-class projector, equipped with SANYO’s proprietary new high brightness optical engine, the LP-XP100L, which is capable of an impressive 6,500 lumens with only a single lamp. Additionally, the projector houses an on-board active maintenance filter system, which improves durability and ease-of-maintenance, perfect for
the large meeting rooms/meeting hall, digital signage, seminar and business presentation, and education market segments.

SANYO, through expanding its mid-range projector line-up, will be able to provide new and
exciting solutions for offices, digital signage (electronic advertising), and large presentation
meetings.
SANYO is committed to continuously providing new solutions by openly employing its propriety
technologies in creative ways, based on its global Brand Vision ‘Think GAIA’.
