Fujitsu Displays A 300GB External Hard drive
Today, with little fanfare, Fujitsu displayed its External Hard Drive for home or business users. The 300GB mobile-sized drive encrypts data with 448-bit Blowfish encryption, but also offers 256-bit AES encryption. The hard disk connects to your computer via USB 2.0 and has 16-point shock resistance and an EZ Gig II suite that makes drive clones or compressed images.
Look for the Fujitsu drive this summer for $229 for the full 300GB, 4200RPM model. A smaller but faster 120GB, 5400RPM edition of the External Hard Drive will go for $129.
