LG Drops A 3G Chocolate-like Cellie

LG released the KU580 today, which offers 3G wireless through UMTS and sports a front VGA camera and support for all of Google’s goodies (GMail, Google Maps, etc.). Even better, the design of the phone is simply superb with a great glossy black finish and touch-sensitive controls.

The slider also sports a 2-megapixel camera with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens, an FM tuner, and MP3 playback with with the help of a microSD card.

Unfortunately details are scant on pricing and availability, but look for this phone to make a splash when it hits shelves sometime later this year.
