Another New Sony Phone: The K530

Equipped with 3G, Sony Ericsson’s K530 handset features support for the new GPS Enabler HGE-100.

The Sony Ericsson K530 is the first phone to the GPS Enabler HGE-100, which plugs into your phone and acts as your own GPS system.

Besides the GPS Enabler, the Sony Ericsson K530 features a 2-megapixel camera, a vivid 2-inch screen, and support for M2 memory. The company claims you can get nine hours of GSM talk time and three hours of UMTS talk time.

If the above specs aren’t enough to warrant a purchase, the phone also sports Bluetooth stereo, an MP3 player, and FM radio.

Look for the phone and the GPS Enabler to hit in the third quarter.
