The SMS masters come from Korea
Earlier this month, the KNSO (Korea National Statistical Office) published an interesting study about the Korean youth. What do they do ? How much do they earn ? How much do they spend ? How much time do they spend on the internet… and that is how you learn that, in 2006 (it’s an average) the young Koreans from 15 to 19 years old have sent 60.1 SMS … per day ! Which makes a total of about 1.800/1.900 SMS per month…pretty impressive isn’t it ?
I believe I send 50 a year or something so I still have a long way to go…but now we know why the latest phones are sold in Korea first !
