Two New Plasmas From Fujitsu

It seems like everyday there is something new around the corner for HDTV customers. Fujitsu has officially announced two new plasmas to add to their Plasmavision line of HDTVs.

The P55XHA51WSb features a 55-inch screen and is available in silver and black. It offers a 1366 x 768 resolution and a per-pixel processing unit called the AVM II that is capable of anti-aliasing, noise reduction and motion prediction. But as we all know, sometimes brightness is a major factor for plasmas. The 55-incher offers 900cd/m2 and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. Besides this, it boasts 2 HDMI ports, VGA and RS232.

The P63XHA51WSb is the 63-inch version of its smaller 55-inch brother. It offers the same 1366 x 768 resolution and equal processing power, noise reduction and motion prediction abilities. It sports two HDMI ports as well as VGA and RS232 and boasts the same brightness as its little brother.

The 55-incher will go for $8879 and the 63-incher will retail for $12,830.
