MID and UMPC from Intel
The Intel Developer Forum in Beijin was certainly the best place to announce and present new products like UMPCs and MIDs (Mobile Internet Device).
MIDs are some sort of UMPCs with small 4.5 to 6 inches screens (800×480 px 1024×600 px) and made mostly for an internet use but with more options than cellphones. These machines should use a LInux OS while the UMPCs will still use Windows VISTA.
Release date sometime in 2008.
