Lehmann Aviation Ltd releases the LA100, the World's 1st Fully Automatic UAV (Unmanned aerial vehicle) bringing spectacular Aerial Photography for non-flyers

Have you ever been interested in being able to take amazing aerial movie or photo footage? Well now you can with the Lehmann Aviation Ltd LA100 fully automatic UAV designed for Go-Pro users. According to the manufacturer, you simply launch the LA100 where it then follows a pre-programmed 4.5 minute long flight path at an altitude of 100 meters. The LA100 is compatible with the GoPro Hero, Hero2, Hero 3 for oblique images or Hero3 for vertical images on the wing.

Check out this video to get an idea of the potential of this cool UAV:

Performance specs say the LA100 flies at speeds of 20 to 80 km/h (12 to 50 mph), at a range of up to 0.3 km (about 1000 feet). It can also fly in winds of up to 35 km/h (21 mph) and in temperatures from -25° C to 60° C. (-13F to 140F) The wingspan of this UAV is 92 cm (36inch) and the length is 45 cm (17inch). Mostly made of foam and carbon fiber, the LA100 weighs around 850 g (1.8lbs), including a mounted GoPro camera.

The LA100 is targeted towards users that don’t have any kind of piloting background. After following its pre-programed flight path it flies back to its original launch site loaded with all the HD aerial photos or videos on the SD card. The LA100 retails for about USD $1330. Lehmann Aviation plans to roll out hardware and software upgrades for the LA100 on a regular basis.

I believe it doesnt need nothing. The flight path seems to be the same all the time, it’s pre-programmed by the manufacture..
