Toshiba HD-DVD Players On the Cheap

Now that we have all found out that Blu-Ray seems to be making strides in the High Def movie market, it looks like Toshiba is trying to switch things up to make HD-DVD a bigger player.

Starting May 20th, American shoppers looking to pick up a Toshiba HD-A2 can have an instant $100 rebate, which will drop the price of the slick player down to a more affordable $300. This nice offer will continue through June 16th, but during the last weeek of the promotion, you can pick up any Toshiba HD-DVD player and get the $100 discount. Even better, if you pick up an HD-DVD player and a 42-inch (or larger) HDTV, you are qualified to receive a $200 rebate.

All in all, this sounds like a great deal for anyone who is looking to get into the High-def swing of things, and doesn’t want to dump too much money to do it.
