I own this phone as of two days ago and have it with Softbank. First of all there are hardly any 4G spots around for any consistent use on 4G. Skype will not function properly on this phone when on 3G full bars. The earpiece has very poor sound quality and is difficult to hear with sometimes. The rear speaker is a plastic mono slit on the back of the phone and can not be heard very well and distorts if turned up. This makes speakerphone functions useless unless in a silent room. Overall the speakers and mic compared to an iPhone are a big FAIL. The camera cannot take pictures at night because the flash dose not work properly. It is weak and fires too early. Auto and off are the only settings for the flash. The video camera lacks an anti shake feature. Manner mode button is achieved by holding down the volume down button. This can be clumsy when trying to switch back and forth wile walking in and out of manner areas. Phone has a nice desktop charger but It only charges and in order to interface you must plug a mini usb in the top of the phone. I was hoping the charger also interfaced. Overall the phone is stuffed with great power for computing and playing. The screen is beautiful and images are crisp. Taking pictures in the daytime or well lit areas only will result in beautiful high resolution images. Plugging an external mic and speakers into this plastic box will unleash surprising high fidelity. The battery is a big boy about 5 hrs of continuous tinkering and mine was down to 20% so I figure its less time for gaming or playing movies. I will say that I am very disappointed about the camera and speakers and for 80000 yen if feel cheated. No more Fujitsu toys for me. I want my money back but im stuck with it for two years. I hope Fujitsu can address these issues or recall the phone.
