8 new GPS with Smart Loop, by Pioneer

If you still don’t have a GPS in your car you might be interested by Pioneer’s offer of 8 new products with or without screen (7 inches VGA), with or without HDD, 5.1 support, DVD player (or not), digital TV tuner, Divx…the kind of stuff that you can usually expect from a new GPS but Pioneer added 2 nice options:

-A removable HDD that you can can plug in to your computer to copy files, videos, MP3…
-The Smart Loop, some kind of SNS for cars. It is a system of communication about road conditions and informations between the cars that are equipped with this system, for example you can get to know how many spots are free on a parking lot or if there are traffic jams in certain areas…accidents…

The Smart Loop is a very interesting technology, especially if other companies decide to use it and expand the coverage made accessible to the user, let’s hope that they do !
