Pioneer’s New Set of HDTVs

After seven previous versions of high-quality sets, Pioneer has announced their 8th-generation HDTVs which promise to please your eyes like never before.

Six 720p sets will be available in June and will range in size from 42-inches to 50-inches, while four 1080p iterations will suit your fancy this September with a respectable 50 or 60-inch size. Each HDTV will sport DVB-T tuners and detachable speakers, but the 720p jobbers will have a 16000:1 contrast ratio and their 1080p brothers will have a 20000:1 contrast ratio.

So far no pricing or release dates have been announced, but we’ll keep you informed before you know.
