2 new video projectors by EPSON

Good news for the video projector lovers, especially those who need it for professional use as those 2 products were made for this and not cinema/entertainment.

Both versions will go on sale early June (in Japan) at a starting price around 90.000 yen for the EMP-X5 (760 USD/555 Euro) and up to 207.900 yen (1750USD/ 1285 Euro) for the EMP-822.

The EMP-X5 features 2200 lumens and a 1024×768 (Real XGA) resolution, just like the 822 but with 2600 lumens this time. The weight is similar (2.7/2.9Kg), contrast is identical (400:1) and they share the 3LCD technology.

The interesting thing here comes from various options such as the “Direct Shut Down” and “Quick Start Up” or “One Touch and Off” which speak for themselves…no need to wait for the lamp to cool down here and it is really enjoyable especially when you need to move or transport your projector !
So as to make the EMP-888 a little bit more exclusive it comes equipped with a remote and a wireless mouse (mouse for the 3.000 first buyers only).

All in all, an excellent product made by EPSON for presentations and conferences.
