Will the ZunePhone Be Far Behind?

Just as it seems Apple will slowly take over the world with its soon-to-be-released iPhone, it appears Microsoft and Samsung will be working together to compete in the cell phone market.

According to Yahoo, Samsung and Microsoft have exchanged patents for current and future product releases. Although the deal covers televisions and computers, it also included digital music players, and considering one of Samsung’s claims to fame is their cell phone division, one can’t help but think Microsoft is looking to make their way into the cellie market.

Although no word has been given on financial details, some interesting developments may arise between these two companies in the coming months.
