New 24 inches screen by NEC

People spend more and more time on their computers for various reasons. To provide excellent comfort and visual quality I would say : the bigger the better !
And NEC would probably agree with me as they announce today 2 new 24 inches screens for PC use coming from their MultiSync series.
Let’s start with the beginning and the LCD2490WUXi: 1920×1200, 800:1 and 400cd/m2. It also features the H-IPS technology for LCD monitors; “The new H-IPS A-TW panel, which, besides other features, offers exceptionally wide horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 178 ° without colour shift (colour reproduction does not vary with the viewer’s line of sight), is another strong point. This ensures an excellent view of the panel from any angle, making the product ideal where multi-monitor applications are needed e.g. financial trading or broadcasting. In such applications, the TileComp feature also compensates automatically for the optical distortion – such as in the representation of a circle – normally caused by the casing frame.”

The second product is the LCD2470WNX and its S-PVA Type screen, 1920×1200, 1000:1 and 500cd/m2 for brightness.
