Core 2 Duo CPU now for Fujitsu’s Notebook

In Japan Fujitsu proposes 2 ranges of products for Notebooks called B2C and B2B. Today we have some news regarding the B2B (Corporate) version including the arrival of the Core 2 Duo in 3 of them.

Let’s start at the bottom of the ladder with the S series and the FMV-S8340, equipped with a 13.3 inches screen (14 and 15 also available) and a 1280×800 resolution, the CPU is now a Core 2 Duo (details missing), the 1GB of RAM can be extended to 4GB and the disk space is of 40GB, all for 2.83kg and an autonomy of 5.5h.

In the middle we have the E Series and the FMV-E8240 and its 15.4 inches monitor, 1280×800, 40GB HDD, CD player, Core 2 Duo (details missing), 1 to 4GB possibility for RAM and 2.6kg.

At the top of this range is the H series, the FMV-H8240 features an Nvidia video card (details missing), of course the Core 2 Duo (which details are obviously missing) is in there. The 15.4 inches screen is good for a 1920×1200 max. resolution, 60GB HDD and the same things as on the previous model but just slightly heavier (2.8kg).
