Akihabara News hand in hand with Dailymotion

Another Geek-friendly news! Akihabara News is the only Geek website, made by Geeks with Geek products for Geeks, providing HD videos which quality is superior to what you can find on any similar site on the internet. The thing is that…until now we were using a dedicated server for the Web Videos (Flash) which was not really meeting our expectations in terms of download speed (only Europe would get the best speed).
So, after contacting Dailymotion (a company full of Geeks and Geek stuff etc etc…) we came across a deal and NOW, the Web Videos, with the exact same quality as before, can be downloaded or streamed as quickly as your ISP allows it no matter where you live! Marseille, Moscow, Miami or …no, not Mars yet.

A big thank you to the Dailymotion team for their kindness and reactivity, plus they love Akihabara News !!

One last thing, the 720p HD videos will remain accessible through torrent and direct download, as some may have noticed we switched to DivX 6, but that didn’t seem to please some Xbox 360 owners so…we’ll be back with WMV HD again (torrents) !
