Chapit, your new Domestic Robot

Today the Raytron company presents a small new robot named Chapit which is an “intelligent” companion helping you for some basic tasks like turning the light on or turning on electric or electronic devices (television… air conditioning system…)one of the biggest advantages of the Chapit is the capacity to recognize a man, woman or child without any programmation. The base model comes with a vocabulary of about 100 words only but it is possible to teach it up to 10.000. It also features an internet connection allowing distant control. Of course the Chapit is far from an ASIMO but at the same time it appears to be better than a Nabaztag for example.
