Takara Tomy announces its new Omnibot BATTROBOT toy in Japan

Did you enjoy watch “Real Steel” well good for you! Now if you ever dream of having your own personal robot fighting game “a la” Real Steel, you will be delighted to know that the Japanese Toy Manufacturer announced today their latest toy, Omnibot BATTROBOT that “steal” the movie basic concept by offering you the possibility to remotely control a boxing robot and fight against other robot on your very own personal area.
Not only Takara Tomy “borrowed” the idea of “Real Steal” but the company also took the liberty to “Borrow” Nintendo’s Wii-mote design when it comes to the Omnibot BATTROBOT controller.
The Omnibot BATTROBOT will be available in Japan around middle of July and will be sold at around 4,000 Yen each.
